3.1 million Americans said they have used acupuncture in the past year.

Pain accounts for 7 of the top 10 conditions for which people use acupuncture. Back pain is the most common, followed by joint pain, neck pain, severe headache/migraine, and recurring pain.

Acupuncture is widely known throughout the world to be especially useful in treating various kinds of pain and is an effective alternative to NSAIDs (aspirin, naproxen, and ibuprofen), acetaminophen (Tylenol), COX-2 Inhibitors (celebrex), and narcotics; without the side effects.

For most Americans, pain is becoming a way of life. A survey released by the Merck Corporation, revealed that as many as nine out of 10 Americans suffer some sort of pain on a monthly or more frequent basis.1

Low back pain is the #2 reason that Americans see their doctor - second only to colds and flus.

Only 42% of patients surveyed are satisfied with the way their doctor manages their pain; few believe their doctor "completely understands" how they feel.

The most popular form of pain relief that Western medicine has to offer is pain medications and anti-inflammatory drugs. If you've spent a lot of time in pain, you know that these medications have unreliable results. After a while, their effectiveness wears off. The side effects from prescription medications can often be worse than the pain conditions you are dealing with.

How does acupuncture relieve pain?

The placement of acupuncture needles at specific pain points effects the transmission of pain impulses, to stimulate the release of endorphins and opioids (the body's natural pain relievers), to increase seratonin levels which influences one's sensitivity to pain, and to effect levels of acetylcholine and catecholamine levels that influence our perception of pain.

Acupuncture for pain management has been used for centuries. Because it treats your body as a whole, acupuncture not only reduces pain immediately but it can help you avoid future pain in the same areas. It's so effective that conventional medical doctors often suggest acupuncture treatment for pain.

No matter what types of pain you are experiencing, acupuncture has the solution. In just one session, you'll feel the benefits of using acupuncture to treat pain.

The World Health Organization (WHO), whose authority concerning health-related matters internationally cannot be challenged, has compiled a list of symptoms, syndromes, disease processes, pathologies, traumas and conditions that have definitely been proven as effectively treated by acupuncture:

  • low back pain
  • neck pain, acupuncture for back and neck pain

* BONUS Relaxation Therapy is your choice of one therapy below:

Cupping Therapy Massage - performed with glass suction cups that glide over you skin, feel great and move the pain and stagnation out of the muscles closer to the skin so they heal quicker.

MicroCurrent Therapy - works on a subsensory level to speed the healing process, reduce swelling and inflammation, alleviate acute and chronic pain, release muscle trigger points and improve soft tissue regeneration.

Moxibustion (Moxa) - works so well for pain because it increases blood flow to the painful area, which acts as an analgesic and promotes prompt healing

That was awesome... My skin feels sooo good... And my shoulder is pain-free today.
